What are the benefits of CBD and CBG for your pet?
Animals, like humans, have an endocannabinoid system that can be stimulated by CBD and CBG to promote homeostasis and support a healthy immune and inflammatory response. Our pets often develop age-related issues such as joint stiffness and discomfort. Our hemp extract has been specially formulated to enhance bone and joint health, help reduce oxidative injury, and, when given regularly, it may help support the immune system.
Oxidative injury is caused by an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in the body. When the body cannot neutralize these free radicals, they cause damage to cells and tissues.
Terpenes
Terpenes are natural, organic compounds found in the flower/bud of the cannabis plant that are responsible for the aroma, flavor, and color of plants. While terpenes are a very important part of the cannabis plant; they are generally so low in hemp that it is difficult to have high enough quantities to be worth mentioning. We felt it was important to add them in sufficient quantities to ensure that your pet benefits from the entourage effect.
The terpenes that we have added are:
- Myrcene which has a fruity, earthy aroma. In addition to hemp, it is found in sweet basil, mangos, and hops and has been used for centuries to support better sleep, and relieve occasional discomfort
- Beta carophyllene which has spicy, woody aroma that may smell like cloves and it has been touted to support a healthy inflammatory response, and protect nerve cells against age-related decline
- Humulene has floral, peppery or woody scent and is purported to support a healthy inflammatory response

This is the best thing ever!!! I will never buy a pain relief medication from any vet for my pet Dusty. He’s 14 years old and this works the best and I’m not damaging his health as medication will. You have another option and this is best. I wish I would of tried the Broad Spectrum 4 years ago it would of saved me lots of money and stress. I would pay $70 for an exam then I would have to pay for the medication which could run another $45.00-100.00 dollars. It didn’t make sense and Dusty had an upset stomach from the pills. Don’t go with the recommendation of pain meds there is another option. In my opinion meds are not safe read the side effects there are way too many side effects. This is the safest option and the broad spectrum allows Dusty to walk and jog at the age of 14 after two ACL surgeries.
