The most commonly found cannabinoid in the hemp plant. CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol which is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in the Cannabis sativa L plant. CBD is one of over 80 known cannabinoids in the hemp plant and it is non-intoxicating, so it won’t get your pet high. Other cannabinoids, such as cannabigerol or CBG, are found in lesser amounts in the hemp plant and are often included alongside CBD in pet products; how the two interact in pets has not been established.
