Third-party testing, batch by batch

Certificate of Analysis

Every batch of our hemp extract products is tested,
and every batch gets its own Certificate of Analysis.

Potency reports are issued by independent laboratories accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Release certificates confirm each batch passed its full specification before release.

How to read these documents

Lab potency report

An independent laboratory measures the cannabinoids in the batch, milligram by milligram per milliliter, and screens for THC. Compare the measured CBD, CBG and CBN numbers to the amounts printed on your label. "ND" on a report means none detected above the limit of detection stated on that report.

Release certificate

The conformance summary for the batch: physical properties, potency, microbials and, where listed, heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides and residual solvents, each marked pass or fail before the batch is released. The full result tables follow on the later pages of the document.

Documents are provided exactly as issued by the laboratory or manufacturer. Because bottles move through inventory, the batch you receive is not always the newest batch listed - always match your own lot number.

Questions about COAs

What is a Certificate of Analysis?

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the paperwork behind one specific batch of product. A lab potency report shows what an independent laboratory measured in that batch - the cannabinoids per milliliter and whether THC was detected. A release certificate is the conformance summary confirming the batch passed its specification - potency, microbials and, where listed, heavy metals, mycotoxins, pesticides and residual solvents - before it was released.

How do I find my lot number?

The lot number is printed on your bottle or box, in the form VH25-082. Type it into the lookup box on this page, or scan down to your product and match it to a row in the table.

What does "none detected" mean?

It means the laboratory looked for that compound and did not find it above the limit of detection stated on the report. On our current potency reports, Total THC shows as none detected.

Why is my lot not the newest one listed?

Bottles move through inventory, so the batch you receive is not always the newest batch tested. Match the lot number on your bottle to its own row - that document is the one that covers your product. If your lot is not listed, email [email protected] and we will send its paperwork.

Who does the testing?

The potency reports currently on this page come from Anresco Laboratories, an independent laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Every report names its issuing laboratory and accreditation on the document itself.
