We may limit or cancel the quantities offered on our website or limit the sales of our products or services to any person, household, or jurisdiction. Prices for our products are subject to change, at BlackMountain Botanicals, Inc’s discretion. Unless otherwise indicated, prices displayed on our website are quoted in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of shipping charges. We do not charge, and you are solely responsible for taxes and duties of any sort. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse orders. In addition, if we believe an order is false or fraudulent, we reserve the right to inform the relevant authorities.
PAYMENT METHODS. For online orders, we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to invalid payment method, declined credit, expiration, insufficient funds or otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your order. Orders are shipped only after receipt of full payment. For certain payment methods, you may be charged a processing fee, foreign exchange/translation fee (international orders) or other fees; you are solely responsible for the payment of any such fees. BlackMountain Botanicals, Inc. is not responsible for any charges, errors or losses that may result from any payment method used by you for the purchase of our products.
COUPONS: Coupon codes, cannot be combined with any other coupon code, or any other promotional or wholesale discount.
SHIPPING: We generally ship all items within 1 or 2 business days of our receipt and acceptance of an order. If there is a delay affecting our ability to ship generally, we will attempt to conspicuously post that fact on this site. We ship through U.S. Postal Service, UPS and Fedex and packages can be tracked through their websites.
We fill domestic orders via U.S. Postal Service mail or Other courier service providers, which generally results in delivery within 4 to 5 business days. Requests for use of a courier service or overnight shipping cannot be processed on this website; however, we generally can accommodate these requests if you place your order by phone at the telephone number first appearing above.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, TIME IS NOT OF THE ESSENCE, and any delivery date requested or provided is an estimate only. BlackMountain Botanicals, Inc. is not responsible for delays or for non-performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of any government or acts of God.
We currently ship to the United States. All international sales are subject to all applicable U.S. and foreign export controls (including, without limitation, the Export Administration Act of 1979, the Export Administration Regulations promulgated thereunder, the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations), and by placing an order through this website, you affirm that you will comply with all such applicable export controls and regulations.
You will be the importer or exporter of record and are responsible for all required licenses, permits, and authorizations. Customs and import duties may apply to international sales. Those charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. It is your responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to verify whether the country to which you are having products delivered permits the importation of those products and whether customs or import duties or similar charges will apply. BlackMountain Botanicals, Inc. is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
We want to express our gratitude for choosing Dr. Fossum’s Pet Care products for your furry friend. We truly appreciate your trust in us and understand that sometimes, a product may not be the perfect fit for your pet.
We understand that you may need to return a product. Should you feel the need to do so, you have 30 days from the date of delivery of your first order to initiate the process.
Please make sure that you are following the directions prior to returning the product. We offer natural products and it takes time for our products to work. We recommend giving the product for at least 25 days before initiating a refund.

Things to Note:
- Limited to one return or exchange per customer.
- Only purchases up to $129.99 qualify for a refund.
- We do not take returns based on taste or if your pet will not accept the product.
- We typically process approved return/refund requests within 1-2 business days after we receive the returned item. It will likely take 2-3 additional business days for the card processor to complete the transaction.
- We do not reimburse shipping costs for outbound and/or returned items.
Additional things to know for subscribers:
- For Subscribers, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their auto shipment has been cancelled.
- For Subscribers, if your dog passed away, we will refund your last order of an unopened bottle.
- For subscribers who opted for a single month’s subscription and decide to return the product, we will accept your return and refund your card, deducting $7.50 for outbound shipping.
If your product was purchased through a Dr. Fossum’s Pet Care distributor or retailer, you will need to go back to your original purchase location for any return or exchange.
We are a small company with a big commitment to our customers, and we want to assure you that your satisfaction remains our top priority. We take your feedback seriously, and it has led us to make some updates to our return policy.
PRODUCT DEFECTS & DAMAGED PACKAGES:
We allow three days from the date of delivery to notify us if there is any type of defect with a product or if the package it was in was damaged in transit. If we aren’t notified of defects or damages within the three-day window, it is understood that the package and products were in good condition upon delivery.
“Satisfaction guaranteed” applies to your first order only; however, if there is an issue with a subsequent order we will do everything in our power to rectify it.
We do not refund shipping costs.
We offer expedited shipping as a courtesy to our customers. The cost of expedited shipping is non-refundable (even if you return the product).
Customer is responsible for paying for return shipping.
In the event that you have subscribed to our autoship service and have received several renewal orders, we will refund one unopened container if it is returned within 30 days of the renewal order date.
NOTE: Refunds/returns are designed for new customers or products that are not satisfactory.
PETS THAT HAVE PASSED AWAY:
If your pet has passed away, we will accept one unopened order of our product for a full refund.
- If Credit Card is the only means by which a customer can pay for a wholesale order, please contact us to arrange for payment, a 5% processing fee may apply.
- Primary method for payments on wholesale orders are check, e-check, money order or wire transfer
LOST PACKAGES: If a package gets lost in transit (very rare, though it does happen), BlackMountain Botanicals, Inc. will not be responsible if the tracking information says the package was “delivered,” which means U.S. Postal Service or the courier service successfully delivered the package to the specified address. If the tracking information says delivered, yet it’s lost anyway, we ask that you check with housemates or family to see if they received the package without telling the intended recipient. This scenario happens fairly often.
PACKAGE SENT TO WRONG ADDRESS: If a package is sent to the wrong address, and the incorrect address was provided online by a customer, then the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item. We will re-ship the order once the original package has been returned to us. So please, when ordering, make sure your shipping address is accurate, as making any mistake could significantly delay the delivery.
When placing an order over the phone, we will read the delivery address (and other information you provide) aloud to help you be sure it is correct.
