CBD Response Diary

Supplements live or die by consistency, and memory is a poor judge of slow change. Was last Tuesday a rough day, or was that two weeks ago? This diary answers that with sixty seconds a day: tap how the day went, and the picture builds itself – thirty days you can actually trust, and bring to your vet.

How was today?

0day streak
0days logged
0good days (30d)

Last 30 days - green good, amber okay, rose rough.

Every Sunday: your dog's week in one honest email - good days vs rough days, the trend, and what it means. Easy to share with your vet.

How it works

Tap how today went. Good, okay, or rough – your gut call is enough. Add a note when something stands out: slept through the night, skipped breakfast, paced at 3am.

Watch the strip fill in. Greens, ambers, and roses build a thirty-day picture, and the streak counter keeps the habit honest. Missing a day breaks the streak, not the record – log the days you remember.

Why tracking changes the outcome

Most owners judge a supplement by feel, weeks in, from memory – which is exactly how slow improvement gets missed and good routines get abandoned early. Veterinarians ask for the same thing this diary produces: repeated, dated observations instead of impressions.

CBD in particular works gradually, which makes day-to-day judgement almost useless and a trend line genuinely useful. If you are just starting, get the amount right first with the dosage calculator, and if a few weeks in the picture is not moving, our guide to why CBD might not be working covers the usual fixes.

And one honest note: if the trend does not improve, that is worth knowing too. Bring the log to your veterinarian either way – a real record beats a best guess.

What to log

Whatever you started CBD for is the thing to watch: evening restlessness and pacing, itching and paw-licking, stiffness on stairs or after naps, appetite, storm and separation stress, sleep quality. One line per day is plenty – “slept through the night” tells future-you more than a paragraph would.

Questions owners ask

Is my data private?

Yes. Entries stay in your browser on this device until you add your email for the weekly summary. No account, no login.

Do I need to buy anything to use the diary?

No. The diary is free and works for any dog or cat, whatever you give them.

What if the trend is flat, or worse?

Then you have learned something valuable early. Talk to your veterinarian about the amount, the timing, or a different approach – the dosage calculator is the usual first check.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing breaks. The streak resets but the picture stays – log the days you remember.

How do I share it with my vet?

Bring your phone with the diary open, or forward a weekly summary email. A month of dated entries is exactly the history your vet wishes every owner brought in.
